PURPOSE: To obtain the stable picture of a fingerprint in a short time buy recording the picture of a thumb or another finger pressurized on a first surface by a picture recorder having a second-dimensional picture recording array using a full reflected light. CONSTITUTION: A light beam 6 is made incident from a light source body 5 through a bottom face or an oblique side to a triangular prism 1a, and full reflected in an area having a hollow in a short face 3a. Afterwards, the light is transmitted through the oblique side again, reflected on a second short face 3b before separated from the prism 1a, and irradiated through a suitable optical picture system 9 to a video camera 8. In this case, a sensor plane 10 of the camera 8 and the lens 9 are inclined against an irradiated optical axis 6. Therefore, X-Y picture distortion and trapezoidal picture distortion is removed, and in a full reflecting plate or the short face 3a, a field of depth problem is solved by allowing those elements to be inclined obliquely, and any remaining distortion is electrically corrected. |
