<p>PURPOSE:To produce magnetic particles having excellent durability, electrostatic chargeability, moisture resistance and environmental resistance and capable of providing a satisfactory image. CONSTITUTION:When magnetic particles are produced by dispersing magnetic powder in resin particles, a compsn. contg. a radical polymerizable monomer, magnetic powder and a peroxide type radical polymn. initiator is suspended in an aq. medium and a water soluble reducing agent is added to the resulting suspension at a temp. below the temp. at which the polymn. initiator is reduced by half in 10hr. The polymerizable monomer present on the surfaces of liq. particles is then polymerized and this polymn. is completed by further heating.</p> |
