PURPOSE:To obtain a method and a device for image noise removal which can remove only noises while leaving a necessary image. CONSTITUTION:Noises of a 1X1 picture element, 2X2 picture elements, 3X3 picture elements, 4X4 picture elements, and 5X5 picture elements which are isolated are removed in order by S1-S5 process parts 24, 26, 28, 30, and 32. Then an F3 process part 34, after reproducing picture elements which become absent at the S5 process part 32 ANDs them with image data after the S2 process. |
