PURPOSE:To obtain a characteristic of a high efficiency and a low side lobe as the antenna characteristics by simplifying the configuration of a primary radiator in an aperture antenna in common use for two frequencies. CONSTITUTION:Primary radiators 1a, 1b corresponding respectively to two frequencies are arranged to a focus of a main reflecting mirror 3 and to a focus of a sub reflecting mirror 2 respectively and the primary radiator 1b placed to the focus of the main reflecting mirror 3 is excited by a vertical polarized wave and the other primary radiator 1a is excited by a horizontal polarized wave. Furthermore, A horizontal grid 7 is formed on the sub reflecting mirror 2 to provide a characteristic of transmitting the vertically polarized wave and reflecting the horizontally polarized wave. Furthermore, a grid 6 at a tilt angle of 45 deg. is formed to the main reflecting mirror 3 to provide a characteristic changing only the polarized wave of a radio wave from the primary radiator 1a placed on the focus of the sub reflecting mirror 2 by 90 deg.. |
