PURPOSE:To analyze a fault to device the countermeasure of the fault and to converge defective parts by extracting analysis information from a logical file and converting the information into a simple language. CONSTITUTION:The logical file 20 including device constitution parts information is inputted. An analysis rule information generation part 100 extracts information required for improving resolution such as corresponding information between a fault detection circuit and device constitution parts, corresponding information between the fault detection circuit and a selector signal and connection relation information between logic elements such as a gate and a register which are included in the cover area of the fault detection circuit, an the part 100 generates analysis rule information. The analysis rule information is once converted into the system of a logical description language (if-then) in a description language conversion part 200, and definition information by the manual operation of a maintenance person 30 such as an individual analysis condition is generated and corrected. Thus, a fault position can be restricted to a logic part which is actually operated, and the instruction resolution and the hit rate of the fault parts (LSI) on a maintenance conversion unit improve. |
