The photomagnetic recording medium comprises a superlattice multi- layered thin film composed of NbCo/PtPd or Co/Pt Pd as a recording film [spec. NdxCo1-y/PtyPd1-y or Co/PtPd1-y; 0 <= x <= 30; 0 <= y <= 1 . The recording medium has a high recording density in the short wave length, a high coercive force and a chemical stability. |
