The regulator uses a pressure control circuit inserted between the master braking cylinder (1) and the wheel brake cylinders (7...10), containing a pump (18, 19) and control valves (11, 15) allowing the wheel brake cylinders (7...10) to be coupled to the brake line (5), or to a brake fluid feedback line (16, 17) leading to the pump (18, 19). The feedback line (16, 17) is coupled to a low-pressure reservoir (20, 21) via two separate channels (22, 23) leading to different points within the low-pressure reservoir (20, 21), each containing a non-return valve (24, 25), one of which is open for the flow to the low-pressure-reservoir and the other for the flow to the feedback line (16, 17).
