Safety device is for a washing machine which includes a washing process for boiling laundry. Device features a device (6) for registering the temp. of the washing water on the inner bottom of the tub (1) and is in contact with the washing water to be heated. A second device (37) is fastened on the inner tub bottom for the registering of the washing water temperature for the purpose of controlling the operation of the heating device (2) in the event of the first device (6) operating abnormally. An additional device (TH1) is fastened on the outer surface of the holder (3) of the washing container (7). The device (TH1) registers the temperature of the heating device (2) and is connected to it. A second associated device (36) functions if the first one operates abnormally. ADVANTAGE - Device ensures that the actual washing water temp. is registered accurately, a heating device is controlled on the basis of the registered temp. and the washing to be boiled is washed at extremely high temps.
