The test arrangement consists essentially of a test frame with at least one support arrangement (5) which withstands the forces acting on the test component, a load head (7) with a drive mechanism and force measurement elements. The load head (7) has a support surface (7C) which can be moved for adjustment of freely selectable boundary conditions of the component for any number of degrees of freedom and which can be rigidly attached to the component (6). The force measurement elements (12,13a,14a) enable vector measurement of force components for all degrees of freedom. Further sensors (17,18,20) measure support surface displacement w.r.t. the support arrangement (5). The load head is displaced under the control of a regulator contg. a process computer which derives a drive control parameter from the measured values and preselected boundary conditions.
