The helmet's lower part can be extended at two free ends (210) formed by a gap at one point facing one of the fixture points. The upper part is in the form of a quarter-shell the front of which has a concave edge (11) forming a rounded protuberance (70) leading into a straight underside to the helmet's upper part. The helmet's upper part has a lower part (101) overlapped by the helmet's lower part. A cover (80) forms the overlap. USE/ADVANTAGE - The helmet is easily put on or taken off and does not cause injury on impact, by being in two parts.
