PURPOSE:To improve press moldability and increase bending strength, by sintering a molded material of SiC fine powder in which a fixed content of polyethylene glycol, stearic acid, etc., are added. CONSTITUTION:Polyethylene glycol having 40000-60000 molecular weight is prepared as a binder for molding. 1.5-3 pts.wt. said glycol is mixed with 0.5-3.5 pts.wt. stearic acid and 100 pts.wt. SiC fine powder. Further, a sintering auxiliary is added to said mixture and granulated. Next, resultant granule is molded and sintered. |
