<p>Process for controlling an oven with cleaning using pyrolysis. In an oven comprising at least one soleplate resistor (12), a grill resistor (11), a microprocessor (17) controlling the power supplied to the resistors, a probe (31) for measuring the temperature inside the oven delivering a signal at the input (177) of the microprocessor and a catalyst which is active starting at a determined temperature which is lower than the maximum temperature of the pyrolysis operation, characterised in that during the cleaning by pyrolysis: - the resistors are first of all supplied at a given power until a temperature T1 which is lower than the determined temperature is obtained inside the oven, - the power supplied to the resistors is decreased until the determined temperature is obtained, and - the resistors are again supplied with the given power up to the pyrolysis temperature. <IMAGE>v</p> |
