A cord locking device is described having a body 10 defining a tapering channel, a clamping wheel 12 slidable along the channel and a cord 14 passing between the periphery of the wheel 12 and one side of the tapering channel, any force acting to pull the cord out of the narrower end of the channel serving to wedge the clamping wheel into a clamping position in the channel so as to oppose the movement of the cord. Locking means 30 are provided for preventing movement of the clamping wheel 12 away from the clamping position and a security seal 32 is filled to the locking means 32, the locking means being removable only after breaking of the security seal. <IMAGE> |
