N-Acyl Pyrrozidines and N-Acyl Thiazolidines of the general formula: <CHEM> wherein, Z represents a methylene group or a sulfur atom, their non-toxic salts or hydrates. The compounds possess an inhibitory activity on propyl endopeptidase, and therefore are usefull for the prevention and/or treatment of amnesia.
