<p>PURPOSE:To enhance image characteristics, fixation characteristics, storage stability, plasticizer resistance, stability of electric chargeability characteristics, and the like by using a specified polyester resin for a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The polyester resin to be used comprises polyvalent carboxylic acids and polyols; containing >=70mol% aromatic dicarboxylic acid, comprising 40-95mol% terephthalic acid or its derivative, and 5-60mol% isophthalic acid or its derivative, and 0.2-6mol% polyvalent sulfonic acid and its salt, and 0.5-8mol% trivalent and higher-valent carboxylic acid; and the plyols comprising 20-98mol% diol of formula I or its derivative and 2-80mol% hydrogenated bisphenol A or its derivative. The polyester resin having a gel fraction of <=0.5 weight % is used for the binder resin. In formula I, each of R1-R4 is H or the like.</p> |
