<p>PURPOSE:To extremely enhance durability and chargeability by coating the surface of each carrier core with a composition containing a specified copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The composition for coating the surface of each core carrier contains the copolymer composed essentially of repeating units each derived from monomers represented by formulae I-III in which R<1> is H, methyl, or F;(n) is 1 or 2; m is an integer of 1-10; R<2> is 1-10C alkyl. A weight proportion of the monomers I, II, and III is 30-80:10-60:10-40, when monomer I is <30weight% and when monomer III is >40 weight%, the obtained copolymer is made insufficient in negative charge-ability, and when monomer II is <10 weight%, and when monomer III is <10 weight %, adhesion to the carrier core is deteriorated and the coating layer is peeled by friction.</p> |
