<p>PURPOSE:To provide the liquid crystal display device which has good transistor characteristics, allows mounting of not only a driving circuit but auxiliary circuits as well to the display device, can provide a bright display without using polarizing plates and has excellent high-speed responsiveness. CONSTITUTION:A single crystal silicon substrate 7 is used. Since the single crystal silicon has no grain boundaries which are the cause for a charge capturing level, an electric field capturing level density is small and the mobility of an electric field effect is about mue: 1900cm<2>V<-1>S<-1>, muh: 420cm<2>V<-1>S<-1>. Then, the characteristics of the transistors are extremely improved and the mounting of not only the driving circuit but also the peripheral circuits on the display device is possible. Since the liquid crystal layer 3 formed by dispersing a liquid crystal into an org. high polymer is used, the bright display is obtd. without using the polarizing plates and the excellent high-speed responsiveness is obtd.</p> |
