A multi-pole, low-voltage circuit breaker consists of an assembly of single-pole units (11), each consisting of a box (12) made of moulded insulating material, within which are housed contacts in the shape of a moving-contacts bridge (19), interacting with two fixed contacts and two arc chambers. The contacts bridge is carried by a bar segment (20), and the various bar segments (20) are mechanically integrated via off-centred link bars (28) controlled by a mechanism (32) common to all the single-pole units (11). The link bars (28) are integral with cranks (42), the spindle (41) of which is mounted rotatably on flanges (34) of the mechanism. Alignment rods (37) pass through the aligned orifices of the units (11) and of the flanges (34). <IMAGE>
