The present invention relates to fixation devices 1 for a spinal osteosynthesis rod 2. The device according to the invention comprises a fixation head 3 of tuning fork shape, defining a hollow housing 4 open on three sides 5, 6, 7 and bounded by a bottom 8 and two side branches 9, 10, a bead (olive) 11 capable of being positioned in the bottom 8 of the housing 4 between the two branches and comprising a slot 12 capable of receiving, at its bottom, the rod 3, and means for solidly attaching the rod 2 and the bead 11 with the head 3, which means consist in the fact that at least one of the two branches 9, 10 exhibits elastic deformation and that they comprise means for returning the two branches towards one another. <IMAGE>
