摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of unequal brightness by sticking of mercury to the inside surface of a fluorescent lamp and to reduce the thickness of a back light in the case of use of the back light of the fluorescent lamp. CONSTITUTION:Vent holes 17 in the form of slits are provided in the bottom of a recessed part 16 for accepting the fluorescent lamp 14 of a reflection plate 15 for the back light of a liquid crystal TV to locally cool the fluorescent lamp 14 by the wind passing in the parts of these vent holes 17 and to control the surface temp. of the fluorescent lamp, by which the mercury sticking part of the fluorescent lamp 14 is restricted to the side opposite from a liquid crystal panel 10.
