The present invention relates to a regulator control circuit in an asymmetric half-bridge comprising, between power supply terminals (VCC, G), a first branch comprising a first diode (D1) and a first switch (S1), and a second branch comprising a second switch (S2) and a second diode (D2). The midpoints of each of the branches are linked by a transformer primary, the secondary of which is connected to load via a rectifier. The control circuit of the first switch comprises an auxiliary winding (Ea) associated with the primary winding, means of detecting the plurality of this auxiliary winding, means for opening the second switch when a polarity reversal is detected on the winding following an intentional opening of the first switch, and means of closing the second switch when a zero voltage is detected at the terminals of the auxiliary winding. <IMAGE>
