<p>PURPOSE:To provide a grooved roller without having effects of burrs by providing a bridge part at a circular groove part to connect adjacent roller parts to each other. CONSTITUTION:A circular roller 1 comprises a number of roller parts and circular grooves formed between the roller parts. A proper number, that is two for example, of bridge parts 4 are disposed facing each other at each circular part 3, and each bridge part 4 is formed to be a radially extending thin- thickness member. By connecting the roller parts to each other by the bridge parts 4, resiliency change of rubber is reduced. A parting line of a die for forming the circular roller 1 is formed to extend almost at a center of an outer end surface of the bridge part 4 to be parallel to a roller axial line. By thus composing the disposition of the bridge part 4 and the die, burrs after moulding all occur in the outer circumferential surface of the roller part and the bridge part. By polishing the outer circumferential surface of the roller 1, therefore, all the burrs are eliminated.</p> |
