<p>PURPOSE:To maintain a high hydroplane-proof performance and reduce pattern noises. CONSTITUTION:There are provided at least one pair of circumferential main grooves on the outermost side which are symmetrically positioned at each side of a tread center and a plurality of cross grooves 3 which are extended continuously in the direction of the tread width and at least open in the respective main grooves 2, and the negative ratio is set to 25-45%. The tire is fitted to the specified rim and air is filled up to the specified inner pressure. The wheel print length is set longer than the wheel print width in the condition where the specified load is applied, and at the same time, the ratio of the groove volume VL of a total cross groove part positioned from the circumferential main groove pair on the outermost side to the tread end side to the groove volume VH of the circumferential main groove set on the outermost side is set to the range of 1.30<VL/VH<1.70 in the wheel print plane, and the groove depth of the respective cross grooves 3 are set to over 0% and not greater than 80% of the groove depth of other parts at the part 4 close to the respective circumferential main groove on the outermost side.</p> |
