<p>PURPOSE:To realize configuration, in which driving time does not depend on an energy consuming amount in a one-sided manner, by preferentially setting picture luminance to the driving time at the computer system which can be driven by a built-in battery equipped with a liquid crystal display device with backlight. CONSTITUTION:This system is equipped with a means to promote the setting of the driving time to a user and to input the set time so as to arbitrarily set the system driving time of a liquid crystal display device 13 with backlight, means to detect the remaining capacity of a built-in battery 12, timer 11 to count the passage of system operating time, and control circuit 6 to judge the remaining drive enable time due to the built-in battery 12 according to the energy consumption of the display device 13 and the energy consumption of the entire system, to decide the energy consuming amount of the display device 13 according to the set driving time and to control the display device 13.</p> |
