摘要 PURPOSE:To detects a three-dimensional shape within retrieving object space without functional calculates by transforming the center coordinates of a circumscribing sphere into space coordinate system and judging whether the corresponding sphere is within the space or not based on the radius of the sphere, the center coordinates of the sphere and the magnitude of X, Y and Z of the space. CONSTITUTION:The coordinates and the depth of the two point of the single side of the retrieving objective space are inputted to prepare the retrieving objective space base on the inputted data with a retrieving objective space part 11. A circumscribing sphere preparing part 12 fetches the three-dimensional shape stored in a geometric shape file 15 to calculate the circumscribing spheres. A coordinate converting part 13 converts the central coordinate of the calculated circumscribing sphere into the coordinate system of the retrieving objective space. An inside/outside judgement part 14 comparing-processes the respective coordinates based on a coordinate value expressing the retrieving objective space, the radius of the circumscribing sphere and the coordinates value after conversion so as to judge whether the objective three dimensional shape is inside or outside of the retrieving objective space. Then, a detected three dimensional shape is displayed on CRT 19.
