PURPOSE:To provide a computer provided with a broadcast receiving function in which a large scale and high price can be prevented, and an operability is satisfactory, even at the time of providing a broadcast receiving function. CONSTITUTION:A reception television signal from an antenna 21 is tuned and demodulated by a television signal processing unit 22, an obtained video signal is applied to a CRT controller 17, and a voice signal is applied to a speaker controller 19. Control data for the processing unit 22 are generated by a CPU 10, and applied to the processing unit 22 after the form is converted by a television control data converting means. Therefore, the CPU 10 is used also as the control means of the television receiving function. And, also, at the time of a television reception, a television operation image is displayed at a CRT unit 16, a mouse cursor is positioned at any switch icon, and a mouse 15 is clicked, so that the operation at the time of the television reception can be executed by a user. |
