A device for rotating a supporting leg for a lorry between an operating position and an at-rest position comprises a housing and a part which is telescopic with respect to the housing. There is also a reaction member which acts between the chassis of the lorry and the telescopic part, the point at which the reaction member acts on the chassis being eccentric with respect to the rotation point of the supporting leg, in such a manner that when the telescopic part is retracted the said reaction member causes the supporting leg to rotate towards its at-rest position.
