COLOR-UNDER CHROMA CHANNEL ENCODED WITH AUXILIARY SIGNALS

A video signal processing system having a chroma carrier modulated with chroma information characterized by means responsive to the chroma carrier for generating a phase alternating carrier, whereby the phase alternating carrier and the chroma carrier are 180.degree. out-of-phase on alternate scan lines, together with means for modulating a first auxiliary signal on the phase alternating carrier, and means for adding the phase alternating modulated carrier to the modulated chroma carrier at a given phase angle.
