The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a device, including a captive securing nut (120), comprising the steps consisting in: a) producing a nut (120) including a collar (123); b) supplying a mould (200) which possesses a chamber (202) including a reception cavity (220) complementary to the nut (120) and a mould cavity complementary to the desired device housing (111) as well as a shoulder (117) and a sheath (114), the said reception cavity (220) comprising a part capable of receiving the collar (123) of the nut (120), this collar being placed around the mould-cavity part forming the sheath (114); c) placing the nut (120) in the reception cavity of the mould (220); and d) closing the mould (200) and producing the housing (111) of the device connected to the shoulder (117) by the sheath (114), by injecting material into the mould cavity (210) of the mould. <IMAGE>
