PURPOSE: To prevent the communicating other party from having an unpleasant feeling when an operator that operates a terminal body during communication through a video telephone moves by adding a remote controller to control an audio-visual terminal to a handset. CONSTITUTION: A user of a video telephone 100 has a terminal that is provided with a camera, a keyboard and a handset 200. The handset 200 has a remote controlling means which remotely moves a cursor on a screen to instruct an operation to be executed on a menu and, for instance, clicks one zone by a mouse. The remote controlling means can carry out, e.g. operation control of an optical element which is related to zoom control, color temperature, manual adjustment of margin balance, a secret image, etc., or the other operation control of the camera, the position control of a user in front of the camera, encoding control to remotely control a remote camera and encoding of the opposite talker and operation control, etc., which is related to call management of all services and does not give an unpleasant feeling to the opposite party even when an operator moves and operates. |
