摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a lightning arrestor which is resistant to thermal impulse and excellent in heat radiating property by injecting gel material, which is a low viscosity fluid when it is injected and it becomes a low elastic substance after it is hardened, between an insulating container and an element pole. CONSTITUTION:An element pole, formed by stacking the necessary number of non-linear resistors 2, and backup springs are housed in a lightning arrestor insulating container 1. First, the air in the insulating container 1 is evacuated through the sealing value 6 provided on the upper part of the insulating container 1. Then, silicone gel 7 is poured into the container 1 through the sealing valve 6 as high as the upper part A, and it is left alone in the state as it is. The silicone gel 7 is hardened and brought into an agar-like low elastic substance, it completely adheres to the nonlinear resistor 2 and becomes the low-elastic supporting member of the resistor 2. The insulating strength of the silicone gel 7 is not deteriorated after it is hardened, and this state can also be maintained for a long period. As a result, a device, having a high upper limit of temperature generating thermal runaway and excellent thermal shock resistivity, can be obtained.</p>
