<p>PURPOSE:To remove mercury contained in combustion exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:Before a combustion exhaust gas at the temperature in a range 200 to 300 deg.C is introduced into a dust collecting apparatus, together with an alkali agent, a chemical agent which reacts with gaseous or ionic heavy metals, especially mercury, contained, in the combustion exhaust gas is sprayed to the chimney of the combustion exhaust gas to granulate the gaseous or ionic heavy metal, especially mercury, and then the combustion exhaust gas containing granular heavy metal, especially mercury, is instroduced into the dust collecting apparatus to remove the granular heavy metals, especially mercury.</p> |
