A wheel rim has a rim bed 1 between inner and outer shoulders (3, 4, Fig 1) the rim bed 1 being provided with a recess 10 for a connecting line 11, eg a cable, between a pressure sensor 9 in an aperture (8) and a coupling circuit (12).
