The solid fuel combustion device (1) comprises a combustion zone (2), fuel transportation system (3), combustion air supply system (4), opening (5) for removal of flue gases, and a region (6) for receiving slag and ash. The air required for combustion (43) is directed towards the lower section (2a) of the combustion zone. A wall section (20) runs into (2), being oriented so that it separates (2) from a neighbouring outer region (21) in order to form a lower opening (22) for e.g. removal of ash, (20) being inclined in a downward fashion to run parallel with the direction of fuel supply. |
