<p>PURPOSE:To keep continuity between a recorded track and a new track and to prevent deterioration of reproducing picture in picture quality at this jointing part at the time of editing by a recording only head. CONSTITUTION:A rotary cylinder 1 is provided with a nonmovable reproducing head couple 2 and 3, and a tracking deviation amt. showing dislocation between the nonmovable reproducing head couple 2 and 3 and the recording only head (not shown in the figure) is stored in a memory 28. During reproducing operation prior to starting editing recording, a delay amt. of a variable delay circuit 24 is varied to make a reproducing output level of the nonmovable reproducing head couple 2 and 3 max. by a system controller 29, and when this is max., a switch 32 is closed to the side of B, and the tracking deviation amt. is read out of the memory 28 and supplied to an adder 36. By this method, a reference pulse from the variable delay circuit 24 is changed in phase, and hence a traveling phase of a magnetic tape 13 is changed so as to make the recording only head on-track of the specified recorded track.</p> |
