PURPOSE:To make it possible to phone regardless of the use state of a master machine side by performing a dial transmission after a telephone line is automatically opened when an emergency operation occurs on a slave machine side while a line is used on the side of the master machine. CONSTITUTION:When the emergency key of a slave machine is operated, the control circuit of the slave machine transmits an emergency signal to a master machine 1. When the control circuit 13 of the master machine 1 detects this emergency signal, it connects a reception circuit 3 and a transmission circuit 4 with a network circuit 5 by controlling a sound route switching circuit 9, closes a telephone line L and transmits a response signal to the slave machine. The control circuit 13 reads the data of the telephone number stored in an emergency number memory 11 after transmitting the response signal and performs an automatic dial transmission by controlling a dial circuit 6 based on the data.
