PURPOSE:To detect give-up of dialing on its way to a calling mobile station even during the operation of an automatic reply timer by sending an interruption request signal from a caller mobile station when the caller station gives up its call before the station receives a talking start signal sent from a radio base station. CONSTITUTION:A radio base station 7 receiving call information 16 sends a bell ring signal 17 to a caller mobile station 1 through an outgoing talking channel and sends a cell signal 18 to called mobile stations 2, 3 through an outgoing control channel. Simultaneously, a base station controller 6 starts an automatic reply timer 19 to stop the monitoring of an incoming carrier through a talking channel and a talking monitor signal 14. When the caller mobile station 1 gives up its talk on its way, an interrupt request signal 20 is sent through the incoming control channel. The radio base station 7 receives the signal 20 and sends an interruption signal 21 to an exchange station 8. The radio base station 7 receiving a talking channel open signal 22 from the exchange station 8 turns off a talking channel radio equipment 5 and sends a cell termination signal 23 to the outgoing talking channel to release the called mobile stations 2, 3 and to terminate the talk. |
