PURPOSE:To provide the electronic musical, instrument which can select and give plural optimal effects conforming to a tone color, respectively with respect to one tone color selected from in plural, kinds by a performer, etc., and increases a variation of the tone color including the effect. CONSTITUTION:In a panel operating piece 3, a switch for selecting a tone color of a generated musical tone, and an effect selection switch for selecting an effect given to its musical tone are provided so that the tone color and the effect can be selected independently, and also, based on the selected tone color and the selected effect, an effect parameter is determined, and in an effect giving circuit 9, the effect is given to the musical tone in accordance with its effect parameter. |
