<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject tape, which can accurately be reversed and formed at a definite position when used for a covered slide fastener, and a sewing position can easily be distinguished when the tape is sewn on an article to be attached. CONSTITUTION:The objective tape 1 is knitted as follow, that is to say, for a fastener element-attaching part 2, nontextured yarn is used as the whole of yarn i.e., chain yarn 4, tricot yarn 5 and weft insertion yarn 6, and for a tape main part 3, the nontextured yarn is used as the chain yarn 4 and textured yarn is used as the tricot yarn 5 and the weft insertion yarn 6. Both of the parts 2, 3 on the tap 1 are allowed to differ each other in thickness, wales W3, W4 positioned at the boundary part between these parts are knitted in the same size, and a wale groove, in which the textured yarn and the nontextured yarn are mingled, is knitted between the wales W3, W4.</p> |
