The invention relates to a fork truck for transporting palletised loads, comprising in known fashion a truck body (12) to which are attached two fork teeth (14) intended to be engaged under the pallets to be transported. According to the invention, each of the teeth (14) includes two parts (14a, 14b) of different width, the part (14a) closest to the body of the truck being such that the separation (12) between the outer edges, that is to say the non-contiguous edges, of these parts (14a) of the teeth of the fork is greater than the separation (13) of the outer edges of the parts (14b) of the teeth away from the body of the truck. <IMAGE>
