PURPOSE:To automatically operate a file restoration processing after the restoration of a power source at the time of the occurrence of a power failure, to shorten a restoring time, and to prevent a restoration miss by providing a file managing table which manages the output state of a file which stores data prepared by a POS terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:Transaction data, financial data, stock data or the like are outputted and stored in a data file 81, and the update of each kind of master file 82, and a total file 83 is operated by the pertinent data. The output state of each file is stored in a file managing table provided at an inside memory 10. That is, a state 1 indicates the state in which the output data are normally written in a save area, and a state 2 indicates the state in which the data are normally outputted to the pertinent files. When the state 1 is not matched with the state 2 after the restoration of the power source at the time of the occurrence of the power failure, the restoring processing of the file is automatically operated, and the list of a fault restoration is displayed at a display device 4, and printed by a printer 6. |
