PURPOSE:To provide a mounting construction for a cloth-like body in an inner facing member of a vehicle by which appearance quality of the inner facing member of a vehicle seen from the inside of a vehicle room can be improved. CONSTITUTION:A long hole 28 is formed on the extreme end part 16E of a trim board 16, and a slit 30 is formed on the extreme end part 18E of a mounting member 18 along the center line of the long hole 28. Consequently, the terminal end 26A of a carpet 26 is pushed through the slit 30, then inserted into the long hole 28, fixed with tacker pins 32, and hence the terminal end 26A of the carpet 26 is mounted. Hereby, the terminal end 26A is elastically sandwiched by the elastic force of both sides 34, 36 so as to conceal the long hole 28, and hence appearance quality of a door trim is improved. |
