PURPOSE:To automatically decide a lane in which a fed sample migrates with a nucleotide sequence deciding device using a slab gel. CONSTITUTION:Until a lane is decided, fluorescence signals at all coordinates in the scanning direction are stored in a fluorescent time signal storing means 42 and a time varying amount calculating means 46 calculates the time varying amounts of the fluorescence signals on each measured coordinates in a time domain set by a time domain setting means 44. A cross-correlation function calculating means 72 calculates the cross-correlation functions between the calculated time varying amounts and set slot information and a lane deciding means 52 decide the lane on the basis of the maximum value of the cross- correlation functions. A nucleotide sequence deciding means 54 decides a nucleotide sequence based on the fluorescent time signal of the decided lane. |
