<p>PURPOSE:To make images formed efficiently, without being affected by a warp on the surface of a photosensitive drum, during continuous rotation of the photosensitive drum by a method wherein a solid scanning head in which light sources for making exposure to pixels are arranged in the vertical scanning direction is moved in the horizontal scanning direction. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus is a device that is equipped with a solid scanning head 3 in which light sources for making exposure to pixels are arranged as an exposing means in the vertical scanning direction, a guiding means 31 that guides the solid scanning head 3 for moving, including follow-up movement to rotation of a photosensitive drum 1, in the horizontal scanning direction and controls the solid scanning head so that it is always kept to face the center of the photosensitive drum 1, and head driving means 42, 44, 48 and 49 that move the solid scanning head 3 in reciprocation along the guiding means 31.</p> |
