<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a deinking agent, containing a specific compound, excellent in ink eliminating and collecting properties and operating efficiency and capable of providing high-quality recycled pulp of high whiteness from printed waste paper, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective deinking agent containing one or more selected from compounds (e.g. an alkylene oxide adduct of a monopalmityl glycerol ether mono-beef tallow fats and oils fatty acid ester) expressed by formulas I and II [R<1> and R<4> are 8-24C alkyl or alkenyl; R<2>, R<3>, R5 and R<6> are H or 8-24C acyl; A<1> to A<4> are 2-4C alkylene; (m) and (n) are 0 or integers of >=1 and (m+n) is >=10; (p) and (q) are 0 or integers of >= l and (p+q) is >=10]. Furthermore, the deinking agent is added in an amount of preferably 0.10-1.0wt.% based on the raw material waste paper.</p> |
