<p>Roadway crash barriers comprising at least one horizontal wooden rail (1) consisting of wooden elements (3) arranged end to end and supported by posts (2), said rail (1) being furthermore provided over part of its surface with a continuous metal strip (4). The strip (4) consists of plane, elongated, thin rectangular plates (5) which are attached to the rail surface opposite the traffic path (13) and in a horizontal plane passing through the rail axis. Said rectangular plates (5) comprise holes at each end with mounting bolts (9) extending therethrough for connection to the next linking plate and the related wooden element (3), said holes being elongated at at least one end of some of said plates.</p> |
