<p>A personal health monitoring device (1) for determining and aggregating the nutritional content of foods consumed during a day. A database (107) containing a list of foods (301) separated into different categories and the nutritional content (312) is used for locating the appropriate values. Additionally, daily nutrition goals are automatically set in relation to personal information (403), such as height, weight, frame size and sex, of the user. The actual consumption is compared to the goals on a daily, weekly and monthly average to monitor progress. Exercise goals and actual totals (414) are included in the stored information (107).</p> |
