A tube which helps overcome aversion to contact during mouth-to-mouth respiration with an unconscious person and which prevents mutual contamination with contagious disease has a bent extension reinforced to prevent sectioning by the teeth and to prevent the tongue of the injured person from falling backward and blocking the respiratory passages. A covering plate covers the mouth of the person receiving the mouth-to-mouth respiration and at the same time prevents direct mouth-to-mouth contact. A standardized cone on the side of the person applying the mouth-to-mouth respiration enables the mouth piece or the respiration bag to be adapted to any desired position. A hydrophobic filter welded into the mouth piece retains blood and saliva on both sides during the mouth-to-mouth respiration, while permitting the unrestricted passage of air. |
