Miniaturised hearing aid current source - uses rechargeable battery cells incorporated in hearing aid housing

The hearing aid current source comprises a number of rechargeable battery cells (C) fitted to the hearing aid housing (A) so that they provide operating current for the hearing aid during the day and can be recharged at night. The rechargeable battery cells can be removed for repair of the hearing aid. Pref. the rechargeable battery cells are spaced around the outside of a hearing aid electronic circuit (B) within the hearing aid housing, to minimise the overall size of the latter. ADVANTAGE - Eliminates need for relatively expensive disposable batteries. Less environmental pollution.
