The method is applied in traumatology. With it, the fixation is conducted in a closed position, making just a small opening in the ruptured place. The fixation is elastic, which favours the closure of the rupture. A punction needle threads a wire loop above the kneecap, while its both edges are led above the skin at 10 to 12 mm above the level of joint slit, bilaterally to the patellary ligament. Under tuberositas tibiae, a Kirschner needle is passed and from it an external fixator is formed. With it the tightened edges of the loop are caught.
